"MJ" creates a "learning community" for all independent agents affilliated with avi.travel.  "MJ" sets the stage....IC's have many opportunities to learn and grow and the sky is the limit. 

Commissions are based on sales and level of support needed from "MJ".

Yearly nominal fee includes Errors and Omissions coverage set forth in the contract.

Perhaps the greatest plus to having a host ageny near home is threefold:  brochures, documents, and DSM visits. 

For example, in October 2009, vacation.com came to Winchester for a 9-hour class on EZguider booking engine.  Within EZguider, agents have access to the best cruise prices on the internet.  EZair is now activated.  During the two day training opportunity, RCCL and Holland Business Development Managers gave 90 minutes presentations.  RCCL treated us to lunch.  "MJ" treated each IC to a neck massage.   

For example, in March 2010, Travel Guard's Virginia Business Development Manager gave a 4 hour seminar.  The seminar was followed by lunch and a 3 hours session on avi.travel office details including CBB for agents- ClientBaseBrowser for data collecting and invoicing for agents.

Projected for October 29, 2010 is indept training on the use of CBB - Client Base Browser.   The list goes on.  Come join the team!

AVI is a member of CLIA, TRUE, vacation.com, and OSSN.  June 25 -July 2, 2010, 90 percent of the AVI team will be traveling to Orlando for Vacation.com conference.  What a team!  On September 16, 2010, many will be attending the Sandals Workshop in Tyson's Corner for CSS certification - yearly required seminar for Sandals Certification.  Alpha Voyages is a Preferred Sandals Agency.

Alpha Voyages - avi.travel assists IC's with date collecting and invoicing by offering a database and invoice program for each IC from their home computer.  The program is operated by TRAMS.com.  ClientBase Browser is a Travel Database Management/Invoicing Program active from any computer.   An IC's license is available per year at a nominal fee.  Being a part of the avi.travel team means purchasing the CBB lisence for your business. 

Faxes, Promotions, Trade Shows, Conferences Seminars and Access to Travel Vendors are a part of the affiliation.   FAM trips are available for those who have a CLIA or TRUE travel industry ID card. (requirements apply)
